The dream time is the Australian Aboriginal creation myth. It is not the time before creation, or after, but during. In the myth it is said that we are all a Creation of the Gods dreams. And that in fact the Gods are still dreaming, and when the world ends will be when the Gods awake. Also look for information on the Rainbow Serpent.
