If you are talking about the URL or Address Bar drop bar:
There are two ways to delete them,
1. Go to the top of your browser and go to TOOLS then INTERNET OPTIONS and the push the button that says CLEAR HISTORY......then close your browser then open it back up and all those in that bar will be erased and also you history will be erased.
2. Go to your start menu then SETTINGS then CONTROL PANEL then INTERNET OPTIONS which is the same window as above.. the push the CLEAR HISTORY button.....You will have the same effect as above....All URLs and history will be eased.

However, if you wish to delete search history saved by the browser and auto-filled when you type on the yahoo website, here is the solution:
To clear your history from Internet Explorer:
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Internet Options."
3. Click the "General" tab.
4. Click the "Clear History" button. To completely disable the history function, set "Days to keep pages in history" to zero.
To clear your history from Mozilla Firefox:
1. Go to the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Options" > "Privacy" > "History."
3. Click on "Clear." To completely disable the history function, set "Remember visited pages for the last X days" to zero ("0").
4. Click "OK" to exit.

You have to do that from the registry if you want to do that one at a time, but you can go to tools, internet options, and then clear history.

If you just want to clear the searches on Yahoo Home Page or any other Yahoo page, double click the search box, this will make a menu drop down with your searches, put your cursor on what you want to delete to highlight it, hit the delete button on your keyboard. If you want to delete everything just hold the delete button down until everything is deleted.
To clear searches on Yahoo Toolbar, click the pencil icon beside the search box,a menu will drop down, click Clear Recent Searches. If you want to stop saving recent searches, click Toolbar Options and uncheck "Enable Search History",or check "Auto-clear Search History when quitting IE" to clear history when you close your Internet connection.
