BUGS BUNNY SHOW 1960-1962
"This Is It"
Overture, curtain, lights
This is it, the night of nights
No more rehearsing and nursing a part
We know every part by heart
Overture, curtains, lights
This is it, we'll hit the heights
And oh what heights we'll hit
On with the show this is it
Tonight what heights we'll hit
On with the show this is it

That would be "Overture/This it it!". It was used in the opening theme of The Bugs Bunny Show.

Someone asked this question a couple of months ago and it's been driving me crazy ever since! I don't know the name of the song but I just remember: "Overture, dim the lights...(something, something)...tonight's the night. Da da da da da...On with the show, this is it!"
I'm not even sure if that much is right.
Sorry!
I hope someone gives you a correct answer, this has been killing me! ;)

I'm not sure, it's been a long time since I watched it. My best guess would be "The Merry Go Round Broke Down". It is a Looney Tunes song, after all.....
P.S. I LOVE your avatar pic!

It's called "Overture (This Is It)." I love that one episode of Seinfeld where he dances around outside the theater singing it and Elaine just gives him one of those "it's creepy that you're proud of that" looks :p
