She is going to be 10 months old on Aug 28. She can already walk, say some words, feed herself, climb up stairs, wave, patty cake, and give 5, blow kisses, and hug and kiss. And she has been doing all of this since about 9 months.
Is this normal or is my daughter gifted?

Maybe a little further ahead than some babies at that age...doesn't mean she is gifted, just that you are doing an excellent job of teaching her.

My oldest was walking at 10 months saying Mamma Dada Nana Hi Bye, and most of the other things listed. We never had stairs for her to climb though. My 7 months old isn't talking as early as my other did. Your Daughter I believe, as I believe mine was, is advanced. I have known a lot of babies that have not learned that much that young. You are doing a good job!

No thats normal my son was doing all that stuff at 8 months. He blew kisses and played games with me at 5 months which was good cause he sat up and crawled at 4 months. He even threw his own binki away when he learned to crawl. We thought it was a joke, bought him some new ones and he did the same thing. In the garbage they went!

My daughter was just 4 weeks old when she began to really really smile at you.

every child develops at a different stage. They all (almost all) end up on the same page by the time they reach kindergarten. Sounds like you have your hands full all ready! :) My daughter didn't start walking until the day after she turned 1 but she was doing all the other stuff at about the same age. Then my sister started walking at 9 months too. Just depends on the child and their eagerness to learn.

No. there isn't any more beneficial reality to this theory than there is to the idea that one race is smarter, more advantageous, or in any incorrect way "more advantageous" to a distinct. Ethnicity has no bearing in any respect on how rapidly slightly one develops. All children improve at their own p.c.. and some children will hit some milestones ultimately than "typical" no matter if or not they are white, black, asian, mexican, and so on.

Completely normal.

Some children are outwardly intelligent, others are more introspective but still "get it".

Now if she discovers a Unified Field Theory for Physics by her first birthday, I'll be impressed :-)

Unfortunately, although WE know she is the most beautiful baby ever born, and the smartest. She is average.
Personally,I don't believe those that say their kid could walk at 6 months. Some babies don't even sit up straight at that age.
So I think she is doing well.Good luck w/ that cutie of yours.

I don't know if she is gifted, but she is developmentally a few months ahead of the curve! Keep working with her and she should continue to advance. Good for both of you! I'll bet she is a riot!

This is pretty normal, but normal has a huge range. She sounds like a very fun baby.
