hazel eyes look lovely in wines and purples. just put a little shadow on the lids, don't go above the crease. a wine/plum liner looks beautiful.

you say you draw the eyeliner a little thick. here's my tip: when you are lining your eyes, aim for BETWEEN the lashes, rather than just above them. draw the liner in short strokes, rather than just dragging the liner across the eye. you'll keep the line straighter that way.

I love eye makeup; it's the only place on your face where you can really try different things. A look I've been using lately has involved lots of browns, which you said you normally use.

The first thing is to put some foundation on your lids! This give you a clean slate with no discoloration and it makes the shadow stay put!

I then wet either a thin brush or q-tip and take a very dark chocolate brown shadow to use as a liner. This makes a thick line which doesn't look "painted on" like a liquid liner. I then dust a shimmery (not sparkly) taupe/light brown color all over the lid.

If you don't like the look of shadow all the way to your brows, it's still a good idea to use a pearl-like shade below the brow arch to highlight and make your eyes look bigger. That same color can be put right in the inside corner of your eyes for a more dramatic effect.

You should also use a black mascara on the top lashes, especially concentrating on the outside corners of your eyes, whcih also makes eyes appear bigger and more open.

PS- To really get this look ready for a night out, using either the dark brown or shimmery light brown shadow as a liner on the bottom looks really smokin!

Okay Ill start with eye shadow first.

Green eyes- Purple will make your green brighter and really let them show!
Brown eyes- To make brown eyes brighter use blues to let them show!
Blue eyes- Use browns and dark browns to pop these out!
For all eye colors Natural looks great on all of them! Browns, earth toned colors work wonders!

Mascara

If you are a red head or blonde- Brown and black brown looks best.
If you are a brunett or have very dark colored hair- Black is the best color!

Try green shades. Almay makes eyeshadow for different color eyes. Try putting on a thin line of liner, maybe a brown liner. Check it out!!! Hop it helps!

being a makeup artist, i would say apply only a thin line of eyeliner to the upper lid. Try using a bronzed look. Covergirl golden sunset. You could use the darker brown to the crease of your eyelid, the golden shade to your lash line and blend some yellow to the top of the golden shadow.

Try gold eye shadow, or a light silver, or a sheer white.
For eyeliner use a dark brown or black.
Make sure you use a eyelash curler to open your eye when you apply a mascara.
