I've not come accross any personally, but i'd like to hear if any of you have come accross incidents of racism in your countries.

Yes, unfortunately, there are ignorent people everwhere. Most people are not, but you will occasionally get a person who likes to make jokes and or insult others because of their race, religion, sex, weight or age.

Here in our community we have every race. From blacks to Pakistan, to Mexicans, to even Irish people. We all get along real well. We fight sometimes but not over race. Usually over our boyfriends.

Yes, it's rampant. Blacks hating on whites & vice versa. And don't forget Asians thrown into the mix.
There are so many cultural differences w/ the races where I live that it's hard to imagine life without racism.

Yes...I stay in southern VA, and it's sad that in 2006 we are still dealing with us. Me and my friends were at the community pool one day, and this white lady called the pool director to asked if we lived there because to her we didn't "look" like we lived there. What the hell are we supposed to look like? Oh yea...white smh.

in the country? Yes. I haven't really seen any. Well besides a little since we are now 50% mexicans.
