I'm not too sure what propping means but I think that means you're relying too much on your shank to get up on pointe. What you need to do is build more ankle strength with releves. Then you want to roll through the feet and focus your energy of pulling out of your shoes. Try to aim your arch (so to speak) where the ribbons cross.
