I think every race should be open to other races. My family doesn't agree with me, so we've had some conflict. I've dated a few African-American guys, and now I'm dating an Indian. I have my own opinions, but I want to hear some more.

As long as they love eachother, then it shouldn't matter.

There is only one human race, it just happens to come in a variety of shades.

As you can see, I have nothing against interracial relations, but I do think that for a long term relation you should be carefull there are no overwhelming cultural differences.

O, and I'm very Dutch, and married a Hispanic American. We're still together after 32 years. A bit of difference adds spice to life.

I support them, we are all human no matter what our skin color or race is. To automatically discourage a relationship simply because of race is ridiculous, it is like saying to a person I will not talk to you because you have blond hair and blue eyes. That is very shallow and fear based to think that a person shouldn't have a relationship with someone based on looks.

If the person has a decent heart and treats you well, what is on the outside does not matter.

I think it shouldn't matter i am 1/2 mexican 1/2 white .. i love that i have the best of both worlds I raise my kids to treat everyone like people and not see color and i wish more people would do that because after all we are all one race human .. i have heard that many times and i believe if more people thought that way things would be very different

not a real issue to me. Im Black, so I know if I have kids, they will be considered Black no matter what color the mother is. That would be my only concern. If we are just talking about regular old dating, if you are not dating aoutsde your race, you are not having enough fun. It's like food. If you never try all the different flavors how do you really know what tastes good.

Of course. I am with a Tunisian (Arab) and we are due to have a baby in two months..I am glad that we are mixing our genes from two different sides of the world and making a unique baby.
I feel that it is important to open up to the possibility of being in a relationship with other races..it promotes understanding of different cultures, and unites families.

As a biracial person, i say they're great- just like normal relationships. yes, it can cause minor identity problems, but it gives you a bigger community to relate to. For example, I feel comfortable with both black and white people that a lot of people I know could never be.

You don't (obviously) need to date outside your race, go for it if you want to.

I actually have no opinion. I think anyone can date whom they want and skin color, religion or gender doesn't matter.

So in this, I can't support or be against it. Whatever people want to do is fine with me and yes, I would date outside of my race, religion, not gender though.

Tracey H, man of color? You mean like a purple people eater? Or an orange guy? Yeah. I do find a problem because it causes friction. Where does the child belong? The kid might feel lost. Everyone is entitled to thier opnion and I don't support it. doesn't make me a racist.

Go for Happiness! Interracial relationships may have a few more hurdles to overcome, but they are no worse (or better) than the "traditional" ones.
