There are natural rhythms and patterns ingrained in the human brain. One of these is the sleep-wake cycle, which matches a well known rhythm in nature, that of night-day. The human cycles occur largely unconsciously (your heart contracts and relaxes without you thinking about it) but they can become disrupted by conscious issues (such as anxiety resulting in irregular sleep or irregular heart beats).

During sleep we're mostly unconscious and inactive because the energy force is largely withdrawn from our bodily muscles and our 5 senses of:
1) sight
2) touch
3) taste
4) smell
5) hearing
After a refreshing sleep, energy is restored to key body muscles and the senses thus allowing us to get up and begin using our now conscious senses.

We are spiritual, eternal beings in flesh coverings who continue working as we permit our wrappings to rest.
Our bodies are quickened by a Higher Spirit to get up and participate in the business of living until the assignment in life is complete.
Then we return to our original glory...Spirit.

Because we all have lives to lead. Some of us have to go to school, some of us have to go to work, while some are out looking for jobs and wishing they can go to work. so, if you stay in bed all day, how can you make a living?
