I would also ask my classmates/friends for help. If you are all confused, tell the teacher and if he/sh doesn't help, talk to the principal/dean.
Your teacher is there to teach you and if you all aren't learning, than they are doing something wrong.

If you have an older sibling, then ask him/her.
If you have a friend who happens to know the material quite well, then ask him or her.

try asking your parents or an older brother or sister (or cousin, etc.) If they can't help, try asking your friends (or someone who is in your class that you think can help.)
