Is there a limit to how many times you can attempt to catch groudon and kyogre

i had this game and i beat it many times. no there is not a limit. if you save it befor you meet them and you have some good p balls you can do it. IT TAKES A LONG TIME. i had to play for over 100 hours to get to that point and by the time i got them it was 120!!

you only have one chance at each. they do not run away and flee all over the world like the legendary "dogs" do. but if you save just before fighting them, you can always power off and try again
