in radio AM stands for amplitude modulation, it is how the waves spread , and it is a 24 hour radio. THE am IN CLOCK stands for Ante meridian meaning before noon

Another radio is FM radio which stands for frequency modulation, of the sound wave also a 24 hour radio.

PM on the clock mean past meridian meaning after noon.

Funny funny harhar. Old joke contrasting two A.M.'s: 1) Ante Meridiem, in reference to hours before 1200 hrs maritime; and 2) Amplitude Modulation, in reference to a radio broadcast system measuring wave variations.
But kudos for the attempt at ingenuity.

YES
you can listen to radio via Amplitude Modulation during Post Meridian time. People still use AM? I like my Sirius radio,Seriously.

I HATE it when I get in some ones car and they have a nice Bose system(this is usually older people) and they are listening to scratchy AM, goes out under bridges , etc... and then the CRANK up the volume . boom out of the bridge, Volume is blasting Rush Limbaugh or some crap, no one on FM would play him and his Nazi diatribe.

Yes. You may also find a great increase in availability of stations after the sun goes down. When the "F" layer of the ionosphere diminishes at night, the skip distance increases. When i lived in Oregon, I used to get stations from Las Vegas, Nevada, on my home built crystal radio.
