First, not all guys wear cologne. I'm a guy, and I don't wear it. Second, it doesn't have anything to do with talent. It's about marketability. Ortiz is a big fat guy, so he's not all that marketable. Jeter plays a glamor position in a huge media market. That's all it is. Or do you think that Britney Spears is one of the most talented musical artists of recent memory just based on record sales?

First of all, Ortiz is not better than Jeter. Second of all, Jeter is not gay, Georgie Porgie, and why would a gay person be making fun of someone else for being gay? If they made a cologne after Ortiz everyone wearing it would smell fat and sweaty, just like Ortiz.

Ortiz is better in many stats but you dont give a cologne name to someone who stinks like a rotten a-s-s. The nickname we gave him when he was a Twin was "stinky". Ive meet him a few times and the section we have in front of 3rd base, we would chant "stinky" all the time and get some people around us to do the same, I dont think he liked it. GO TWINS!!

Because when Jeter heads out, he rubs on a little something to smell better.
The only thing Ortiz rubs on is "The Cream".
And anyway, who wants to smell like a guy who's nicknames are "Shrek" and "Cookie Monster". What would a cross of those two smell like? Choccolate Chip Swamp Sludge...

Because of the physical appearance, Ortiz looks aren't as good as Jeter's, and besides have you seen how dirty Ortiz looks??? Showmenship is not for everyone.
