Deep emotional scars. It's pretty easy to keep a collection going...just interact with people on a daily basis. Over time they will never fail to add to a growing collection.

I collect elephants: When I was 15, I saw this shiny ceramic elephant in the lost and found at school and I couldn't figure out how someone could lose something like that(it's pretty big), so I walked into the office and claimed it as mine, and I've been collecting elephants ever since :)

I collect DVDs..to watch...as in collect collect...I collect random stuff that I think is pretty cool..I collect Star Wars stuff...because I love it.

animals, not sure why, just happened...I have a heavy heart and can't say no to my kid when she brings them home. Have cats, turtles, lizards and puppys. Not collecting anymore, I am the one ending up taking care of them. I don't guess I collect anything else, I don't see the point in it really.

I have all my movie stubs since 2001 and I have no idea why. I also collect chinese fortunes from the cookies. Not very valueable collectibles...!

Angels and Cherubs. Our spare bedroom is devoted to them. I even have a bell right beside the doorway and I ring it to wake them up whenever I enter.
Whether it's Christmas, Mothers Day or my birthday, someone gives me an Angel or a Cherub.
