If you are a true believer in Palm Reading and Psychics
READ NO FURTHER
I think palm reading is not accurate at all.
I am a psychic entertainer that does cards and palms at parties for ENTERTAINMENT. I use a technique called cold reading. This allows me to use clues given to me by the sitter to give accurate information about the sitter. Most readers use cold reading techniques either consciencely or not. I don't try to dupe people out of money like many "psychics" do. I provide entertainment at parties for an entertainer's fee. I get very upset when I see people going to "real psychics" and be taken for a lot of money.
If you go to a psychic, do some research on cold reading (see source below for a start). Then when you go to someone new, see if they use this technique. If you've been going to someone, they already know a lot about you so they really don't have to use it. From cold reading, the psychic can tell you a lot about yourself.
But psychics do have their good points. They provide comfort, guidance as a counselor would, listen to you and help with closure when a loved one departs. And for this they deserve a reasonable fee, but not great sums of money as some demand.
My advice - If you want - go to a psychic and be entertained but keep your wallet in your pants or purse. Pay a reasonable sitting fee BUT NO MORE.

It's only as accurate as the palm reader, from what I understand palm reading is about 3 parts knowledge, and 1 part intuition....
It's based on the recognition, and acknowledgement of repeating patterns. If you studied the hands of one million people, and found
that a short pinky, in the majority of the cases, were found on people with one certain distinct personality trait... that's a pattern...of course, there's a lot more to it than that, but my point is, palm reading isn't the hoodoo voodoo that people think it is.....

It isnt...but we learn to seek solace and ask the same quesrrions over and over until we get the answers we want to hear. It is a study of scrutiny which may or may not have particular validation.....howevr yu as a Christian, would ultimately feel as though you had to prove this was a wrong thing, or find out how it connects to you. better said yet, would the Bible validate this?
Well toots... palm reading can be fun. I can read cards. I have read for luminaries in the entertainment industry. Things I never could have known. I was puzzled by this...it is nothing I can push. I am not a Christian in the sense of how I feel it coming from you.... i am far more panoramic in my search and going strong..do not slag me on this. It isn't about religion primarily. Perhaps you blocked her. See? Now wasn't that simple?
I hope you and your friend are carefull and I will say this, do NOT play with a OUIJA board.
Thanks and Be Well.

RE:
How accurate is palm reading?
I am a christian and don't really believe in alot of the horoscopes and things, i see them as more of a generalization that all people can somehow relate into their lives to feel better about themselves... but one of my friends went and got her palm read and they ended up telling her alot of...

Palm reading is very vague and as they are doing the reading they are asking questions about you. They base there questions and subsequent answers on what you are telling them. This is how they figure out personal stuff. They also will make a statement that is vague enough that it could fit a variety of situations.
I have gone and find it entertaining. It is really interesting to watch them work. I learn a lot about human behavior from them.

Belief in palm reading and oracles is just like any other belief: some people will tell you that they know it's accurate, others will laugh it off. It all depends on your religion/set of beliefs.
That being said, oftentimes people who work as "professional" mediums and psychic advisors are very quick to pick up subtle cues in their clients' language and expressions that give them a fair idea of what's going on.

I have done my astrology reports and my Numerology reports
Then I went to a palmist and had my palms read and they all matched up.
Your left hand is what your planned in life and never changes.
The right hand changes as your destiny does
Maybe you just don't want to except what the person had to tell you?
Or you went to someone that was inexperienced
Maybe go to another palmist and see if what they have to say matches up with the previous one.
Love & Blessings
Milly

Palm reading is all about your facial expression believe it or not. Its how you react when they tell you something, its about unconscious movement on your face. Palm reading is completely false. Only God knows your future and your future changes all the time.

Sorry.. I meant to click on thumbs up -- Good question!
To me, a palm reader is like an entertainer (magician or alike)- therefore, they need to make money.
If you don't want your life to be manipulated or your brain to be screwed try not to believe in it.
