I am a 7 letter word. My 1st,2nd,3rd letters are a body part.
My 1st,2nd,3rd letters are a body part.
My 4th,5th,6th letters are what you would need every day.
My 5th,6th,7th letters are an animal.
What is this word?


My friend told me to solve this riddle, I don't understand it though.

well, here's how to solve it:

the word is seven letters long.
the first three letters form a word that is a body part.
the 4th-6th letters form a word that is something that you need every day.
and the last three letters form a word that is an animal.

so perhaps you can list a few 3 letter words for each category:
body parts:
eye, ear, leg, arm, toe, lip,
what you would need every day:
air, sun,
animals:
dog, cat, rat, emu, cow, boa, fox, ant, bee, man, ape, hen, pig, ram,

we know that the second word (everyday need) has to have 2 letters in common with the third word (animal). we don't know if the words are already in order or are anagrams (mixed up).

well.. this is a start - so far, i don't see the solution, but perhaps if you keep thinking up new words for each list, you might find it.
