Do like ouroboris says, and don't run the engine with the transmission fluid in it....

For years in the past (and even now sometimes) we have used a quart of transmission fluid just before an oil change to help clean out oil debris deposits inside the engine and the lubrication pressure system.
Some very popular oils had (have) a propensity for leaving deposits in the crankcase.
Or if the car wasn't driven enough to fully warm up, and it has sludge build-up from the moisture, the trick was to wait until the oil level was low enough to add a quart of transmission fluid, and drive the car long enough to get the oil very warm. We don't want to "hot-rod' the car, we just want the oil very warm. As soon as possible drain the oil while it is hot, replace the filter and oil with quality oil of the correct viscosity and then service it regularly thereafter (at least every 3000 miles or every season, 3 months).

Trans fluid contains dispersants..... not detergents (almost act like em though) its just a 20 wieght oil anyway....., if it wasn't much (under a half a quart) your fine...

Though the best solution would be to just go ahead and change the oil.....

(btw, trans fluid in the oil was a good old timers trick, back when transfluid had more additives then engine oil....)

Drain the mixture from the crankcase, remove & change the oil filter, add fresh oil to the crankcase.

you change the whole thing before you drive it because if you don't you could have some problems
