I liked it until the girl waited half a scene and then cheated on the dude with his best friend....
what a whore.
and what an as$hole that dude is for tryin to hit up his best friend's woman....
I don't see this as some great love story like everyone else does...
I think it's a story about betrayal!
where's the loyalty??

The action sequence when Pearl Harbor is being attacked is the best part of the whole movie, other than that, it left a lot to be desired. The story line of the the love-triangle was really trite and the performances were laughable. Just too hokey.

Pearl Harbor...sad day...its movies like this that make you think...I don't know what you would think about...but, I think its one of the best movies ever next to Wind Talkers, Saving Private Ryan, and the mini series Band Of Brothers.

the objective became to knock the U.S. military out of action so Japan might desire to invade and triumph over Pacific Ocean islands and worldwide places (Philippines) and not challenge proper to the U.S. military coming to their help. Japan became hoping the attack on Pearl Harbor might knock the U.S. military out of action for a minimum of one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, in spite of the shown fact that, 4 U.S. airplane companies that Japan became hoping to wreck weren't at Pearl Harbor on the time, and 6 months after Pearl Harbor those 4 airplane companies defeated the jap military on the conflict of halfway and grew to become the tide of the conflict interior the Pacific.

It's a very good movie. It has action and romance. What more could you want? If you want to see another war movie then see Enemy at the gates. Oh yeah that movie has a great love story too.

I also thought it was great, not because of all the actors/actresses, but just for the historical value it depicted. My father was actually there in 1941 during the attack when they showed that scene in the airbase hospital. I loved the effects and especially how the attack looked from the military's point of view.

That's a great movie, I saw it yesterday! I loved the scene where the guys were putting that oil under their eyes to look like they were crying, and the one soldier put way too much on! c",)
