Everyone is different, my periods have always been irregular. Start counting your cycle on the first day you get your period, and end it on the first day you get your next period. Keep a record of this for a few months, and you will be able to tell if this is just how your body works. If you are worried about it, make an appointment with a gynecologist, they can run some simple tests to ease your mind.

One problem might be pregnancy. Another thing could be anemia. I had the problem for a while and was not sure what the problem was, my gyno referred me to a hematologist who found out it was anemia, after treatment, I have returned to a normal cycle. Hope it needs

Stress, weight gain or loss and just plain changes in hormones as we age are most common causes of menstration changes.
