Should we "leave" and think about saving American lives and let them fight their own war? Or if we left now, what would it be saying for those who have already given their lives? If we're doing "good" things and changing things for the better for these people then why don't we hear about it! Or is it because nothing is getting done and there's nothing to tell?

Netjr... Are you saying by fighting them there, that we're not fighting them here? While we're fighting them "there", how long do think it's going to take them to find a way of "striking" here?Do you think what's going on over there right now is "terrorism"? It's a war between 2 religious groups, they're fighting "us" because we have our big fat noses in it! It's giving the real "terrorists" the opportunity to organize while we're occupied over there and some day we're going to wake up and find them on our doorstep because we're to darn involved training 120,000 of their security soldiers over there! What happens to our security?

Even though I deplore Bush and the mess he's created, I think we should stay in Iraq and finish what we started. We created that mess there and it is our responsibility to clean it up. We can't just destroy a country and then leave it to the people who live there to clean it up. We created the problem, we should have to clean it up.

It does not remember which nationality you're any lack of existence because of conflict is gloomy yet when a sturdy effect is to be executed i'm not effective that that's an entire waste of existence. Many men contained in the previous have given their lives so as that their countrymen can lead a more effective constructive existence. The Iraq question, notwithstanding, is different for me, i do not imagine we ought to continuously have lengthy gone in there contained in the first position yet with Afghanistan overseas forces will be on their territory for a lengthy time period contained in the desire of accomplishing a more effective constructive existence for the Afghani people. it is a very potted contribution - a query such as you've requested extremely calls for a miles more effective complicated answer.

Good question, I think we do alot of good things over there with some bad. I don't think leaving now is the right choice due to the fact we have given so much and Iraq is not ready to take over, no matter what we have seen on tv lately. So in my opinion it would be better to stay and finish what we started. Excellent question though.

Plenty is getting done; in a very short period of time we've trained over 120,000 security officers for the new government - the problem is they need 200,000 and the insurgents know this - why do you think they constantly attack recruits for the new security forces.

One thing I feel is missing from your question; if we leave when do we fight them here in our country? Those opposing us there are extremist with radical views of Islam; and they won't stop if they win in Iraq - they will grow and expand until they can reach us here.

It really is hard for us to tell because you know we aren't getting the whole story, good or bad. Blood, guts, gore, and bad news make headlines and news shows.

Cutting through all the dialogue and clutter, here is my analysis: It is better for us to fight the terrorists in Iraq than on the streets of San Antonio, Reno, LA, or Micanopy.

What a terrible choice, I agree. Then there is the real possiblility that if the US leaves, instability will spread, and there will be a Shia -- Sunni war that spills over several national boundaries.

what u are talking about is exactly the topic of my last question, my question was: does the US really bring the democratie to Iraq, i was surprised by the answers, people told me that the US & UK did their best to bring freedom and democraty to Iraq, if they can't achieve this goal, it would be not their fault but the Iraqui's one !
i'm really chocked by such as reaction, as i'm an arabic, i can't admit that we need the help of any country to bring or learn the freedom & democraty to our countries.
just as a reminder, Bagdad was one of the oldiest democraty in the world even before the creation of the USA

Do you have any family members in the military stationed in Iraq? Those are the people that you need to be talking to. Quit listening to the liberal anti-war media. Get informed and form your own opinions.

there are those in this country who will die first before letting the American people know about the good things happening in Iraq....the 'criminal liberal media' cannot and will not allow this...the leftists in this country and around the world would do almost anything to prevent the truth from coming out...sad but true!

Most decisions are hard, this is one of those. You have to ask does the ends always justify the means?
