After twisting open the top of a gallon of milk, do you leave that little (blue for me) plastic ring on there or do you lift it off?

I leave it on and every glass I pour is a pain because I'm using a finger to keep that ring from falling in my glass.

Take it off!! Or else it is a pain in the but when you pour milk. It serves no purpose on there after you open the milk. It's on there to secure to cap to it so you can tell if it's been opened or not before purchase.

I like to take them off and play with them but I usually leave them on unless they come off by accident...
