Try Siniai, Busteni and Brasov - all about 1-2hours from Bucharest by train or bus. You can walk on the mountain freom Siniai/Busteni in summer or ski in winter. Dont try to climb up the mountain in winter as it is very dangerous - there are numerous scrambles and via ferata - step ladders and chains to help you up. There is also a ski lift that makes it easier.

i dont know. i was born there. but dont know which mountains are the best to visit.
