Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for the destruction of Israel. He has stated that he would sacrifice half of Iran if he could destroy Israel.

I doubt it. People in power like to stay in power, and attacking Israel with Nuclear weapons would be the end of Iran as we know it (and probably half the world), and definitely the end of the current Iranian President. He's an idiot and a moron. But I don't think he would be that stupid. I doubt he would ever initiate the attack.
It would be start of World War III and there would be no doubt that Israel and the US, and possibly other allies would respond in kind and completely destroy Iran from the face of the earth.

They really dream to rule the whole world. If they start with Israel they will be nuked by the US and this is what they don't want at this stage. They will nuke US cities and propagate that is done by Al-Qaeda and naive US administration will contact Russia and China to see whether it is time to be a little bit tougher to mullahs? The reply will be :not yet and US will again wait for 100 years to see if their allies would take a harder stance!

It's difficult to anticipate what a radical Islamist nutcase with that much hatred inside him might do. At least that's the little that we ordinary American citizens know about him. Maybe he's just a blowhard trying to maintain control of his own people.
Personally, I think he's the next Hitler, if we allow him to be. Saddam was the last "probable" Hitler. Fortunately we caught him and most of his lieutenants before he could do any more harm.

He has also proudly and publicly stated that it his purpose and mission in life to facilitate the return of Allah and to initiate the true Jihad. When will the sleeping giant of the world awake to forget how much money and power they have is futile when a country as Iran grips a nuclear stick?

No,we are peacefull nation.Ahmadinejad has always said that the matter of israeil has to be solved by democracy,by voting of all people in palestin.
and our atomic projects are peacefull.USA scares that we become a power in the middel east and world so they want to show by abuse of media that we want to abuse atomic power.they just lie,you remember what they said when they wanted to attack Iraq.had they find any atomic bomb in Iraq?

Yes, he dosen't care if his people die, as long as he can destroy Israel. Even if the world did not respond to this, he would be killing his own people with the winds of fallout.

I think that his statement answers your question. I also think he believes that the US or Europe do not have the "guts" to try and stop him. And believe that Israel would only be a starting point.
