when you try on bras are you a different size in each brand. I find that this happens to me alot and was wondering if anyone else (meaning women) had the same problems.

My wife had problems for years with finding bras that fit. We ended up going to a lingerie shop with an experienced bra fitter. My wife went into the shop wearing her size 40DD bra. She came out of the shop wearing a size 38G bra. Your problem could be the style of bra or it could be the size of bra but either way you should be buying your bras at a proper outlet with an experienced fitter. People think bras from small speciality stores will be much more expensive but the truth is unless you are used to buying bras that are basically cheap garbage the price will be close to the same anyway.

Haha! Of course! Not only bras, but pants, shirts, dresses, everything you can think of! There is no continuity in sizing today.

My suggestion is to find a brand that fits you well. Then, instead of paying the almost $40 apiece at Victoria's Secret, look on Ebay. There are several stores that sell brand new Victoria's Secret bras in lots. This means you get a lot of 5 or 6 of the same size and style, and different colors.

These auctions usually close around 40 dollars- which is pretty damn good for 5 VS bras that are not irregular or tried on or used or anything like that- they're simply overstock.

Good luck!

PS Don't forget to keep your bras in the best shape possible by only handwashing them and line-drying!

Ya i was in problem during start of puberty when my size was changing frequent, then i stick to a brand and not changing it. The size of bra of a brand is good idea. Problem arises when i like to wear a comfortable bra but my friend like me to have push-up bra. push-up bra make some stress on boobs but who cares!!! i suggest to select two bra when for work and one for SPECIAL events, i hope ypu will get my point.

yes this is a very common thing, their are size variences from brand to brand which can be confusing,so it is really best to try the bra on before purchasing.I am surprised the beauty articles,tv and press doing reports on the proper fit of bras are not mentioning this little dirty secret. Its frustrating I know!

yes. theyre like pants and shirts, not all brands fit the same. i usually buy a bunch of the same brand and shape (different colors) that way i know i have abunch that fit. the ones i found are from walmart... they got a little extra padding, but i need that bc ive got piercings there. I litterally buy out the whole stock of what they have in my size. SO when you find one thats fits right, buy a few, not just one.
