I just got my AAS in Electronics Engineering. And I am now pursuing a bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering. I now work as an installation tech installing burglar alarms, fire alarms, and CCTV. What's next?

Definitely get your bachelors in something Technical - avoid the journalism, production, news side of broadcasting. I finished (BA) in Radio, TV and Film 20 years ago and soon realized I had made a collasal mistake. Went back to school for computers. It's much, much better. You could in applications at TV stations, etc. If you talk to any of the employees you might ask if they offer any type of technical internship. Actually, it might be better if you ask your guidance counsellor-type folks at the college if they could contact and ask various stations for you. It's free (though paid internships DO exist) labor for the station and a tremendous learning opportunity and an awesome resume builder for you. Good Luck!
