it depends on who is online at that time. If it is an old or rare song... it may that time.

Make sure your firewall is not blocking Limwire. But mostly likely it's just that sometimes it takes a minute or so for Limewire to connect. So when you search for a song, just wait. Don't stop the search before you get anything. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to connect.

chances are, you aren't connected to the server. to check this, make sure the bottom indicators are green (or blue if you have limewire pro). you can't do a search when you are connecting. if you can't connect, try chaging your proxy settings, or even disable your firewall (sounds dangerous, and it acutally is. i wouldn't reccomend a novice turning off their firewall-however you do get much faster speeds with your firewall turned off)

Don't be very specific in your search criteria. Also remember, Limewire may not have everything you are looking for. It is all shared files with other users.
