Why do liberals compare anyone who loves the USA and supports our leader to Hitler?

I think we should have all patriotically went out in the street in Dec 2000 to stop the Dumbya Coup and unite as one with President Gore. The people of Mexico are now demonstrating what should have happened in the USA in their MASSIVE public demand for an honest vote count. And the shamlection in the 2000 USA was MORE crooked than Mexico 2006. Down with Dictator Dumbya!!!

I'll agree with your statement in Principal but in reality it really doesn't work. If most people felt that way then America would still be under British rule. Americans who knock current U.S. policies and our president are not necessarily unpatriotic, as a matter of fact many of us are the ultimate patriots for speaking out against a government and policies that we feel will ultimately ruin our great nation. These are the same principals that the America was founded on and I hope that we continue to have the right to disagree with our government in the hope that they will change for the better for all Americans.

Yes!! I`m with you. Communism is the best! And when we take power we`ll kill all those Christians and Gays and Jews and Professors and teachers and people that worked for the old Government and anyone from the old political parties and Lawyers and those sick people that put a drain on us and smokers and old people who have lived to long anyway and those homeless people so we don`t have to look at them anymore and anyone that doesn`t like us and Linda who dumped me in the 6th grade and Taxi drivers.
And then we may have to kill you to because you might not be pure enough in your thoughts.

So long as that ONE LEADER is held accountable to the law, has his/her power checked/balanced by other branches of government, is prevented from engaging in overt cronyism in hiring government employees or favoritism in handing out government contracts, and can be voted out or even impeached should the ONE PEOPLE find it necessary, then I'm fine with it.
But I'm guessing that's not what you have in mind. :P
