Jasper Maskelyne.
A very clever man. He once persuaded the Germans we were building a pipeline, but only used about 100 yards of pipe, and just shifted it, so it looked as if it was being buried, when it was dark. It worked, and the German tropps were out of position at the Battle of El Alamein

J. Maskelyne, an english stage illusionist who devised a whole set of methods for fooling german reconnaisance on a grand scale.
By the use of dummy vehicles and clever camouflage of the real ones, he persuaded the germans that the real thrust of the allied attack at el-alamein was coming much further south than it really was.
As a result many of the german defences were out of position when the attack came , which gave the allies an initial advantage.
After the war he was totally forgotten and never received any acknowledgement of his work.

I think it was merlin. and after that he had tea with the rabit and mad hatter as they toked on the catipillar's huka. This made hitler soooooo mad that he decided to become a total prick and pick a fight with.....lets see here....pretty much the whole world. the moral of the story is, DONT drop a hit of mesqulin before doing your homework. If I am wrong in saying this, I will gladly accept my fate. and I just read above that it is true, so go ahead and put me on the "dumbass list" for a half hour.
