I think you have to get working papers so that you can work. Try your school guidence councellor first and then check out the local grocery stores. I believe they let you face shelves for a few hours a day at your age??? Depends on your state though.

I mowed lawns in the neighborhood when I was 14. Decent money, hot work.

First , if you like animals. there are dog breeders. groomers etc. that hire younger people to work to help out. ask small grocer if they need stocking. or pricing. and last but not least. dog walking or Babysitting. Plant sitting. etc, happy hunting.

also look into temp employement agencys in your area.. use your volunteer experience for resume...14 is young but if you have any volunteer experience it will help and temp agency's can help find your strengths to use on resume.. also look at age limit laws in your area...working papers if you qualify can be picked up from your school...
