Neil Armstrong was the first person to land on moons soil (as per NASA's records which are accepted till date). The second one was Edwin aldrin who was on the same space ship. The third one, Michael Collins was on the space ship but did not step on the moon's surface.

The answer to that is Yes. There are those who don't believe than anyone has been on the moon though and that all the landings have been a hoax.
Maybe the photographer was the first person on the moon.

The first to walk on the moon. The Russians sent a probe there, which is what pushed the U.S. to be the first to put a man on the moon. So, Niel and Buzz got here at the same time, but not sure who got out first.

Armstrong was the first to recieve credit to be in the public for it. I remember it at some airfield in Arizona that he was going to volunteer to be aknoweldge, but before that it had been landed on about tweenty times. Infact there was a lost of about 15 Marines on the moon due to exposure.

Cecil Cootes was the first Human to land on the Moon after he was abducted from Chooch Hollar, Tenn. in 1953. He was unaware of the event though because he was fully involved in an anal probe at the time.
