whale sick from the beach?
It turns out its worth thousands as it is a very rare thing that is used in expensive womens perfume.
It got me thinking and i would like to ask how anyone first found this out? I mean....come on...who would pick this stuff up and think "I Know what i will do with this whale sick i will put it in my perfume!!!!! eerrrrrrr....but someone did!
Its like the bengal cat thats poo is dried and added to coffee in that area. Again how did this come about? i think you can see where im coming from with this.
Anyone else ever thought about this?
has anyone got any better tales of how things came about? I bet you have if you think about it?

It's called Ambergris
Ambergris (Ambra grisea, Ambre gris, ambergrease, or grey amber) is a solid, waxy, flammable substance of a dull grey or blackish color, with the shades being variegated like marble. It possesses a peculiar sweet, earthy odour not unlike isopropyl alcohol. Now largely replaced by synthetics, it is occasionally still used as a fixative in perfumery.

It is not that unusual. What she may have found is ambergris, which was used in making perfumes for years. Many people who live by the sea and know about fising, whaling, etc. would know about ambergris.

Think it's called ambergris and it occurs when a whale has an irritant in it's stomach...it secretes this ambergris to encase the irritant. Think it's like a resin. And yes it's used in toilettries and make up I think. Didn't know the whale puked it up though......enjoy your eau de sperm (whale!)

they dont really but the bengal cats dried up poo in there coffee over there do they and if so whatever for please email me as im moving over to bangladesh in march of next year and i like coffee although if it has cat poo in it then i dont think that i will want to drink it thats disgusting lol

Oh yes "Ambergris " What about Lanolin that is used in lipsticks, it is oil from a sheep!
