Its sad & embarrassing for such a talented artist to self destruct like this. He has become a parody of his song - Star People.

Patience was a pretty good CD. I think he will be okay. I heard he was working some new material.

His last 2 CDS, Older and Patience have been his best work, so I realize things have become a little scandalous, but the news isnt all bad.

He had a couple of hits off of Patience in like 2004 or 2005. "Amazing" was a huge hit. So I would hardly day that he's nothing now.

Besides, like he said in an interview a couple of years ago, even if he never worked again, he's got more than plenty of money and he has grown tired of being in the public eye.

Mark Lamar and Dale Winton were talking about Gay celebs and how they come out of the closet (on Radio 2 last weekend).
There are some who do it with no great drama and just get on with their lives and then there are the George Michael and Michael Barrymore's who come out and go on a rampage and press the self destruct button.
I don't know what is going on in his head but he needs to show his partner a little more repect.

What decay? The only thing that matters is his music, not the tabloid crap surrounded anything he does. I have not heard anything from his last album so I can't comment on that side but what I do know is he had really amazing songs that showed he was serious about interesting music and not just pop fluff. I hope he is still in touch with that.

I thought that single he had out last year or the year before was good.

Gimme a break and leave the man alone. I think that anyone who gets joy from the misfortune of others are just trying to make themselves feel better about their own shortcomings. What a pity, you could have been a decent person and now you are nothing.

Yeh I'm sorry to say he's passed his sell buy date bless him. He was brilliant in his day but now I think he's hanging on by the skin of his teeth but I'll still listen to his excellent albums he did do some good stuff.Don't rate what he's churning out nowadays.

Yes, I feel sorry for him, he really seems to have lost the plot lately. Hope he gets back on track soon, not everyones cup of tea but no-one can deny he's talented

Fame and money changes people. Not to mention those hot spot lights the "famous or infamous" are under. I'm not sure I could stand up under intense scrutiny.
