Recently Marvel Comics started a saga in which Superheros were ordered to unmask! Several did among those Peter Parker. Now this would turn comic world upside down and bad move in my view! However heros have been unmasked many times only to have something happened to save their secret! What si going on with this saga? I dont read anymore but did for nearly 20 years so I am interested

This storyline began in a book called Illuminati, which was a one issue prelude to the Civil War series. It's an interesting idea- recognizing that the government and S.H.I.E.L.D were already putting plans into motion and that heroes could either recognize which way the tide was turning, or be swept away.
Not necessarily a great idea, but it's made things more interesting for now (and more similar to our current state of affairs in the real world) Still, I think something like this would have worked better in an alternate timeline/universe like the Ultimates, rather than mainstream Marvel.

Civil War introduces a Registration Act for Superheroes by the U.S. government which pretty much splits the Marvel heroes into two sides. Those who support the act(most notably Spider-Man & Iron Man), and those who disagree(led by Captain America). A sign of the differences between Marvel & DC nowadays IMHO.

My friend great that you love your wife and all no matter what but you are just opening yourself to ridicule by putting her up there for the world to see. Then you threaten people with reporting them is only making the fire bigger. Put a decent picture of your wife up out of respect to her, I am not saying anything negative about her just understand that in order for others to respect your wishes you have to respect others despite how childish some may be.

I haven't read Spider-man in years but this new development has made want to go out and buy some issues. That is a good thing from a marketing point of view. From a storyline point of view. I think it is good Peter finally "came out" as it were. He has done so much good I want to see how the public treats him now.
PS. your avatar looks good from here.

concerning your offending my eyes...
i find the picture of your wife quite offensive. its no where near sexy, its actually quite disgusting. and getting mad at people who are giving you their opinions about ur avatar is asinine and sophomoric. personally do u think that we wouldn't attack her? in laymen terms she is a fatty that needs to cover up. she probably is a sweet person, but honestly, who (other than u) wants to see that nastiness?

I didn't care for it. Superheros need to keep their identities to themselves.
