Sound like you might have a spyware running in the background

Check for spyware. Run both Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/) and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections.

You forgot the quotes around, "A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"

...and I don't know.

Is this the standard Script Error message by Windows?

I doubt if this will help, but here is a MS site for Script error problem fixes.

Go into tools and delete that program. Sounds like you might have a bug. If it continues, save all you docs on a floppy and reboot everything back to a few months ago when you didn't have the problem.

i guess you're opening a website or something that uses Flash. it might not be a "movie" like we're used to, in this case, all Flash is considered as movies. it might be that your hardware can't handle the load of the Flash "movie", but just click no... if your computer doesn't slow down considerably, then you should be fine.
