I have been doing about 100 sit ups and about 50 crunches a day for the past two weeks and barely dropped down 4 lbs. You gotta do hella sit ups and crunches to loose weight. You can also try jogging in place with a plastic bag over your upper body, that way you loose all the extra water weight. And of course drink alot of water and when you get the habit of doing these work outs you find that your appetite gets smaller, so eating smaller portions helps out also.

just do sit ups every other day with 3 sets, 1st set, 10 counts 2nd set 15 counts and 4 set 20 counts and as you go on increase with the number of counts... same thing with leg raise..
Drink plenty of water and as much aspossible avoid sweet and salty foods..

jogging and running for at least 30 minutes!
join a sport! you dont have to do it alone invite a friend!
do as many situps as u can each day! crunches are more effective!
