My daughter is 10 years old... she came home from work the other day and told me that her boss was touching her inappropriately... she says that he grabs at her chest and her bum, and she has to tell him to stop every day.
how can i explain to her that she shouldnt be lying about things like this? she could lose her job over it.

10 years old and she's coming home from work? Get a grip. Child labor laws mean anything to you?

What! How could your 10 year old daughter have a job. When I was 10 years old I couldn't even leave to go to the mall without my mom. I stayed in school!

...First off, I don't believe you. And I truly believe that you should have a minor appendage removed. But on the off chance that you might be telling the truth, you should be shot.
If your child tells you that someone has been sexually assaulting her, you do not accuse her of lying. Children rarely come up with that sort of idea without cause, and if they do lie about a particular person touching them in a sexual manner that does not exclude the concept of someone else introducing the child to sexual behaviors.
I just don't know what to do with f*ckwads like you.

Where does she work? How do you know she's lying? What she's saying might be true, so ask her exactly what happens at her job. You might want to do an impromptu check. You don't want anything to happen to her, right? If you know that her job puts her at risk, tell her to change it. You don't want to be sorry, so protect her.
If she really is lying and you are religious, remind her that lying is a sin and that you won't trust her anymore if she keeps telling you false things. That it won't take her anywhere.

Your daughter is 10 and works!!! and you wonder where she learned to lie. If by chance you made a typo and she's older I say shame on you for not believing your child. You as a mother should be happy that your daughter trusts you to share with you and not believing her is certainly not the way to repay that trust.

How the fuq does you daughter at ten years old have a job? Where are you? China?
Maybe she's not lying. Maybe she's telling the truth. Or maybe the problem isn't her lying.... Maybe it's you.

she's ten and has a job? maybe she is telling the truth, people don't cry for no reason-unless they're deranged. But you should talk with her and find out the real, full story. but for now take everything she says with a pinch of salt. good luck.

Are you sure she's lying? Check into it first, It is possible he is harrassing her. If she's lying find out why. Does she like her job? If not encourage her to look for another one. If she is lying there is a reason. But make sure she really is lying.

How do you know that she is lying. you need to get some proof. Have you asked her coworkers. Have you asked her manager. Have you talked to her about it.mThis could be sirious and you are just asuming she is lying. You are being a *****.
