Nobody should complain about security measures aimed at keeping us safe from terrorists. Remember is is better to arrive late in this world than early ~ and in a million bits ~ in the next.

It's kind of ironic that Ryanair will probably not receive compensation because of a clause in the Transport Act (the same document that Ryanair apparently cite when refusing refunds to irate customers).
The 1982 Aviation Security Act is the document which outlines many of the security measures now in force, and it makes no provision for compensation claims.
I'm not saying that I agree completely with the security measures, but I think Ryanair are just banging their heads against a wall on this one.

the closest airport to Dublin interior the united kingdom is possibly Belfast, yet utilising Ryanair it may be Liverpool as there is no provider that i understand of between Dublin and Belfast. Northern eire is an ingredient of the united kingdom it makes use of the Royal Mail like something of the united kingdom.

It's not just a question of suing the government. What the airlines are doing is asking for compensation for loss of earnings, which is rather more reasonable a thing to do under the current circumstances, wouldn't you agree?
