Not always true. Some people do some things for no reason at all... just for the "heck" of it. Usually there is a motive, but not all the time... the "exception to every rule" rule.

For the most part that is true. However, the motive is not always clear or conscious. For example, one blinks one's eyes and is usual;y not aware one is doing so. There are also some involuntary actions such as snoring, sneezing, or choking neither of which have a conscious motive.

You have a "need" , perceived consciously or not, and your "behavior" will always be in accordance with meeting that need
