Regardless of how bizarre the rest of the sentence is, how likely are you to believe what's stated?

it doesn't matter how a sentence begins, because i will read the "facts " and decide for myself. the thing which does however make me wonder is when the media say , Research says....., because some of the things which are researched are non-important and done in controlled groups.

I have an open mind. It would depend on how reliable you are. Of course i don't know you from Adam. If you were Tony Bliar or G.W. Bush, of course, I wouldn't believe you.
