What are some good values that you can share to your kids to maintain harmony in the family?

No swearing. Respect each other's things and privacy. No hitting or biting. That's the main rules I had for my daughter and my bf's kids when my bf and I moved in together. They had a big problem with those rules though and no longer come over.
