Me either! I'm 40 and I've managed to avoid them so far.

Your husbandly choices will be limited to those who also do not want children. I highly recommend being up front about it - as soon as possible.

You're not going to avoid pregnancy if you don't use some sort of birth control. There are so many different kinds I'm sure you can find something you can stand.

Condoms are an obvious choice. Then YOU don't have to use them.

I don't recommend getting your tubes tied, young as you are. It is not reversible. Not only that, but it's not a "casual" operation the way a vasectomy is.

If you're not aware of all the different forms of birth control, I recommend talking to your doctor, or just googling it.

You can't get your tubes tied at your age.
You can get an IUD, or try the patch or the nuva ring or sponges or a diaphragm or lots of other forms of BC besides a pill.
I dont want kids either, but I have stuck w/ the pill. It's the easiest for me. I'm 39, and I know it's still my choice to not have kids.
you may still decide later that you want them, or like me, that you never want them. I'm married & it's a decision we both came to.
But if you don't want kids, get yourself to a gynie, and find something that works for you. Your doctor will help you find a method that's right.
good luck

It is obvious to say use a condom. Can you not take oral contraceptive medication because of other medical conditions you have or because you'd rather not 'take a pill every day'. The oral contraceptive pill is the next most reliable method to contraception (next to the condom). There are also coils you can get fitted inside you to prevent you from becoming pregnant. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist and they'll beable to advise you more about this. But remember that oral contraception does not protect against STIs!! I'm not plenty of men out there would agree with you and not want to extend their family! Hope this helps...

If your thinking of never having kids, get your tubes tied. It can be redone if you want it to, but if your pretty positive about no kids look into it. Otherwise you need to use condoms, birth control forms, etc. Some doctors may be reluctant to tie your tubes, since your only 21 (even though it isn't their choice to make). But, tell people you date you don't want kids...so if they want kids in their life they know your not the "one".

condoms, condoms, condoms. that is the only way you will be able to prevent preganncy without being on the pill.
iam 39 yrs old and dont have any kids. i have chosen not to have any, and no guy, whether it was my ex-husband or otehr have never had a problem with this.
then again u are only 21, u might want to change your mind again when u r older.

There is nothing wrong with not wanting kids. There are other forms of BC besides the pill. You need to find one you like before it's to late.

you're too young to get your tubes tied and the doctors won't do it because of your age. why can't you use condoms? think of it this way, the condom protects you for 30 minutes versus a baby for the next 18 years. think about it. your choice is simple, if you don't want any babies use protection either condoms or the pill or the ring etc.you can't have your cake and eat it too and if you want that, you will be eating for two!

Be responsible and tie your tubes. Having sex without BC is extremely immature.

Let the guy know you can't have children so if he really wants children he knows to find someone else.

Not having children is YOUR choice no one elses and if your man doesn't like that then he can go. Who your with should love you for who you are not what you can give him. Bc is the most effective, but there are many other options like diaphrams, condoms, spermicides.

it's not bad not to want kids, but you do need to use some kinda protection--condoms, birth control(pills, shot,etc..). Also u need to make sure that when you become invovled in a serious relationship that u make it known how u feel about kids.
