He played for the Washington Redskins, and he had a half a foot and he was a kicker. I can't remember the name, but i think he kicked the longest field goal ever in NFL history. Can you please help me because it is driving me crazy? Any help will be appreciated

I think his name was Tom Dempsey. He played for NO when he kicked the record FG. I think Elam from Denver has tied his record.

You're thinking of Tom Dempsey. He was the first kicker to kick a 63 year field goal. He played for the Saints, Eagles, Rams, Oilers, and Bills.

the guy for the redskins was mark moseley. he was accused of having a steel toe but it was never proven. tom dempsey never played for the redskins.

mark moseley played for the 'Skins from 1974-1979.
he never had half a foot. but he said he used a lot of tape and wore multiple socks so that he couldnt feel his foot when kicking field goals. so then people accused him of having a steel toe but that was never proven.

He was from Milwaukee, came to the Saints as a free agent. He was born without half of his right foot. I lived less than a mile from the stadium (Tulane) and in those days it was real easy to get tickets.
