... honestly, I'm always trying to argue that 1+1=3 in class. I hate being that guy, but someone's gotta do it. I need better arguments. That website was disappointing Truthyness ;[ But the gay darth vader pic made up for it...

My opinion is that's a point of view.
1+1 how you add it? I think it's an 11 not 3

How come and you reached to 1+1?
Philosophically, I could never comprehend the addition, since we should add only same things! Further, philosophically, if we surpass the previous rule, adding 1 to another one, the result is one, a new one, compound by the previous two ones!

Here is my deep meaning to this one..
If at a check-out the computer goes down and the cashier can't count back change.. short changes me.. they will get philosophy when it comes to my money honey.

There is no "simple" math calculation.
Even the simplest arithmetic require complex system of axioms.
