HBK may not be ready for wm23 because of his pending surgeries. Mysterio's fairy tale run is over, face it.
With that said, the RAW Main Event should be Edge v.s. Carlito, and the Smackdown Main Event should be Batista v.s. Lashley.
Lashley and Carlito are ready to take that next step, and they should begin pushing them as championship level Superstars now so they would be ready to headline wm23.
I spit in the face of people who don't agree with me.

well hogan is pushing for a match against stone cold which would overshadow anything else on the card if it happens (i doubt it will)
Title wise, im guessing HHH to claim his payoff from jobbing as a heel for 3 years. As he is intending to stay as face for the rest of his career, the uestion is who he will face.
HHH is very fond of edge (and is responsible for his mega push) which makes him a strong candidate however a face HHH Vs a Heel Michaels in a DX break up angle could attract a very high buy rate (HBK turned heel for hogan despie his religious beliefs so you would assume he would do it for his close friend.) Another possibility would be turning Cena heel (although vince is against this because of the large amount of merchendise he shifts to the kiddies.)
My personal choice is to have Flair's retirement match (either against Steamboat, HHH or Dusty Rhodes,) The guy has done so much for the industry and deserves to go out on the top of the greatest wrestling event.

I'd go for Edge v HHH as the most likely. Second most likely in my mind is Benoit v Batista.

I think from what has been said that Batista and someone for Smackdown. But - what about the draft? We have that to go thru yet, and that in itself will make a big difference.
