The reason why I ask is because I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. in the begining he would always want to spend time with me and stay over night with me. but now he always wants to stay home and play poker online till all hours of the night. and if we go anywhere this one friend of his has to go. kinda makes me feel like he doesn't love me anymore. and that he wants someone eles

My boyfriend yes I would. But some people can look straight into a persons eyes and lie. If you don't trust them enough to believe them when they did this and they previously gave you a reason not to believe them then maybe you shouldn't be with them. If you have no trust your days and nights are going to be filled with an insecure worry do you really want that.

If you cant trust em or believe them you have a problem
they may be telling the truth wich also depends on honesty
if they have lied in the past however then 50 50 chance they are lying

Your gut will let you know whether you should believe them or not. And stop asking him those types of questions. Your only showing him your insecure and guys hate insecurity. Be confident and make him feel like he's lucky to be around you not that you think he's getting sick of you.

You can't just go by their answer alone, whether or not they are looking in your eyes.
Do you trust them? Do they show real love...and not only that, but respect for you?
There is no 100% fool proof way to KNOW that your boyfriend is being faithful to you, but that is why it is important to be with someone you know you can trust.

You have to go with your gut. I've had plenty of people look me right in the eye and flat out LIE. You have to go with your gut feeling it doesn't lie. If you don't trust someone you should not be with them. You shouldn't have to ask that question of your bf/gf.

Of course. But then again, it's not the fact about the eyes thing, it's just because of the wonderful person I am going out with.

Yep, but my husband is trustable.
the sad thing is, a personal that is a real liar can look you in the eye and lie, I guess you would just need to know the character of the person.

maybe if you think they like someone else or getting sick of you, yall should take some time apart. just a couple of days or something, but if its a very serious relationship i would believe them.

absolutely...the eyes are the windows to the soul...i would listen to the answer they gave with their mouth...but the eyes would tell the truth no matter what. and if i saw something there that seemed doubtful, i would have to confront it, no matter how painful or delicate the situation would be.

i would believe my boyfriend, he's the sweetest guy on earth but when my ex said it, i though he meant it but he didn't. he said that he would love me forever and then the next week he went to summer camp and cheated on me. i found out from one of my friends, and it hurt me so bad. so i guess you can't trust everyone, even if they are your boyfriend or girlfriend.
