I know that windows XP could do A, and C.
D would be provided by installing a word processor, like Microsoft Word.
And finally, I don't know what you mean by B. Please clarify.

Seems like an answer from a Microsoft certification test. Here are the answer:
a. Yes. Windows Explorer will do
b. Yes. This is a built-in feature of the operating system and its operations are transparent to users
c. Yes. The Mouse applet in the Control panel windows
d. No. The spell check feature goes with Microsoft Word and this means you will have to purchase Microsoft Office separately.

Next time try to finish your assignment with less help. Then you will not a computer illiterate. Put more effort on it. You will see computer is amazing!

Choose D, by default the only text editing applications that come with Windows are Notepad and Wordpad. Neither of those applications has a spell check feature.
