Stress, migrains, depression, a number of things can cause headaches. If you experience them on a regular basis I wouldn't wrooy until it has lasted more than 5 or 6 days. If the pain worsens or other symptoms develope see a doctor.

No, i don't think so. It should be migraine. Stress might be enhancing it. There is no medicine in the world to treat it. Only Acupuncture treats it or it will disappear automatically aeter some time. But you will have to bear it till that time. If you don't like Acupuncture or can't get an acupuncturist you go to villages and ask people. Many villagers treat it with some herbs. If you can get drumstick leaflets draw one or two drops of juice and drop them in opposite nostril or both. You may get relief immediately. Try and see.

top of the head? if you mean forehead, probably tension related. If it gets unbearably bad, check with a doctor... I have cluster headaches, they hurt (a lot). this will centralize itself in one part of your head * usually behind one eye- often leaving a person screaming. You may also have migranes, though I don't know what those are like (I guess you get nauseated with those).
anyway, hope this helps.

If you did not get hit on the head or other mechanical reasons, check your drugs/medications for side effects. If reading the
labels or instructions is confusing, you can try testing this by stop
taking any drugs/medications for at least 2 weeks, better if you
can do this for a month. There are other factors but you can start
with this test.

i think this is migraine.
cause is not properly known but may be due to dilation of arteries because contraction of artries produce relief.
