Much the same as the philosophy of science, but with some peculiarities:

Whether it's accurately named, given that it's hardly ever about meteors...
Whether it's ethical to claim to 'forecast' what is in practice unforecastable...
Whether there's a Platonic Form of the weather..."perfect weather we're having..."
Whether climatology is part of it or vice versa...
Whether what planets like Jupiter have is weather...
Whether meteorological terminology constitutes a Wittgensteinean 'language game'...etc.
