And damn all those widows and widowers who get married for companionship after their original spouses pass. And damn all those couples who decide not to have children. And damn all those people who have medical issues that prevent them from having children.

How is allowing them to marry in the interests of the government.

Here that women? If you don't squeeze out a pup, you have no worth in this world!

So you think the only purpose of a country is to replicate? Good Lord no wonder why overpopulation is a huge problem. A good balance and foundation of citizens includes those from ALL walks of life. And if a gay or lesbian couple is contributing to society, paying taxes, etc they should have the same rights as other people paying taxes, contributing to society, etc. That's the bottom line. It comes down to equal rights. Your method of thought is quite frightening, very similar to how the KKK thought when they feel it's in the best interest of the country to only have one race.
If the figure that roughtly 10% of the population is gay or lesbian, that gives you 90% that will most likekly get married and have kids at some point in their life. Isnt that enough for you? Oh yeah, what about all the women who are straight and simply don't want kids? There's a lot out there. Or what about married couples who don't want kids? There's a lot of them out there too. So now you are implying all married couples should be forced to replicate just to get the same benefits as a married couple who doesnt have kids?

It is in the interest of the country to not have so many unwanted children, or to have children to parents that cannot or will not support those children.

This question is retarded. There are many heterosexual couples who face the difficulty of sterilization. Shall we annul their marriages?

Absolutely.

Marriage should be denied for anyone who will not contractually promise to have children. If people aren't going to breed, they shouldn't get legal benefits.
