Buy some of those yard gnomes. They harvest them and trade them for necessities. Make sure you get enough though. If you have more mushrooms than they can harvest, they will leave your lawn for greener pastures.

Moisture and decay are the usual culprits. Most times i found out a tree was cut down and the stump ground. Once ina while in newer developmnets, contractors buried the crap on the property and it will decay and provide a nice environment for mush rooms.. Just mow them and the y will go away..

Weed N feed will not do a thing for mushrooms, nor will sunshine N lime alone.

Sun and lime arent mushroom ridders but they usually prefer moister areas or even sunny areas with poor drainage. Lime will take acid out of the soil to adjust your PH up, and some mushrooms prefer lower Ph's.

In all seriousness, just mow them for a couple weeks and they will dry up and go...

Mushrooms will contiune to grow even if you pull off the heads becuse they are a fungis and grow in systems. there are teamments (chemicals) and your local nursery that you ucould treat it with. Before you go to the nusery take a picture of the whole system and a close up of a mushroom. There are many types and there may be differnt ways to treat each.

Your best bet and inexpensive bet would be vinegar! Spray the vinegar directly at the root and they won't grow back! Kills weeds too! We always use gallons of vinegar at the beginning of spring to ward off weeds and unwanted grass growing threw the cracks of our concrete driveway!

Oh.. and don't dilute it.. just pure vinegar. Doesn't matter if it's white or not.. You can say goodbye to those mushrooms forever! :D

Spray them with round-up. You can always pull them up by the roots, cut off the heads and eat them, if they are not poisoness.
